ScamRadar helps you examine a message, link, QR code, or screenshot before you click, reply, pay, or share personal information.

It all happens on your phone. No account, no login required.

WHAT YOU CAN CHECK

• A text message, email, or message received on a messaging app
• An advertisement, job offer, or investment proposal
• A message that appears to be from your bank, a delivery company, or a government agency
• A link, without ever opening it
• A QR code
• A screenshot or photo containing text

AN EXPLAINED SCORE

ScamRadar assigns a score from 0 to 100 on four levels: low, moderate, high, and critical.

Most importantly, it explains its result. Each detected signal is displayed along with the reason why it is suspicious and the recommended action to take. Aggravating combinations are flagged: an emergency linked to a payment request, a banking context linked to a code request, fake tech support linked to remote access.

Reassuring elements are indicated—but never presented as proof of legitimacy.

LINKS EXAMINED WITHOUT BEING OPENED

ScamRadar never opens the submitted address, downloads any pages, or follows any redirects. It detects, among other things, a string of numbers instead of a website name, an address mimicking a well-known brand, a deliberate typo, a shortened link, disguised letters, or an address lengthened to hide its true ending.

The application shows you the link's actual destination.

THE EMAIL SENDER CLOSELY EXAMINED

This is the most reliable signal, and the most often ignored: we read the displayed name, rarely the address. ScamRadar compares the two and identifies fabricated addresses—advertised brand name absent from the actual address, repeated word to lengthen the address until it is cut off on the screen, unpronounceable string of letters.

LEARN TO RECOGNIZE THEM

Fact sheets explain the mechanisms common to all scams, and a directory describes the campaigns circulating in France: blocked packages, fake bank advisors, health insurance cards, training accounts, fines, fake support materials, blackmail, romance scams, and miracle investments.

Each fact sheet provides the pretext used, the detail that gives it away, and what the scammer is really trying to obtain.

THE REST

Reads the text of a screenshot or photo on the device, with the option to correct it before analysis. A local history is also available, of which only a masked preview is retained: cards, IBANs, addresses, numbers, and codes are replaced by asterisks. Emergency mode if you think you've already been a victim: ten questions, an action plan, and official resources. Share from your other apps, with confirmation before any analysis.

PRIVACY

• Entirely local analysis, text reading, and history
• No analyzed content transmitted over the internet
• No advertising, no trackers, no data sales
• No automatic reading of your SMS messages or emails
• No access to contacts, call logs, or location
• Only one sensitive permission: the camera, requested at the time of the scan
• No account, no registration

WHAT SCAMRADAR DOESN'T PROMISE

ScamRadar provides an estimate and does not guarantee that content is safe or fraudulent. No tool detects all scams, and a legitimate message can sometimes receive a moderate score.

The app does not replace your vigilance, your bank, or the relevant authorities. If in doubt, always contact the organization concerned through its official channels.

The level of risk is always indicated by a color, an icon, text and a score: never by color alone.
