It remains the best space shooter game I've found so far. (It's the familiar one I started out looking for long ago. I almost found a better one but that turned out to be an illusion.) It would be nice if it didn't force landscape mode, but allowed it as an option, and had controls that worked from an external keyboard. The shields not working from the side is a little annoying. But the shields aren't too useful. They only last for one or two hits and it seems that you don't get more than one shield at a time even if you "grab" one while you still have one. (Choosing the right weaponry is more important than shields. (Like everybody doesn't know that.)) But I think it'll keep me entertained between other diversions. It would be good if grabbing weaponry was cumulative instead of just making the 20 seconds start over again. It would be nice if there was a way to get more lives ("reinforcements"?), just to keep the game going. I don't like how it senses my finger being near the screen and taking that as touching it. That "miscontrol" greatly detracts from the gameplay. The only problem I have with the ads is that they're hard to close due to my touchscreens being very unresponsive to tapping on X's. (They're not a big problem but I'd pay to get rid of them.) However, the malicious ad that just popped up saying that my phone has a virus IS a problem! (No legitimate ad will EVER do that!) But the constant interference from the recently used apps function constantly is getting debilitating!

Abseloutely brilliant. The controls work perfectly. The game in itself is a good simulation of the retro game, space invaders. Five star all the way.
