About this game

Riddle Quest is a free riddle game built around a simple idea: reading a riddle should
be the hard part, not answering it. Every riddle has a single, everyday one-word
answer, and you give it by tapping letters, not by typing. There is no keyboard to
fight, no spelling to get almost right, and no answer box that rejects you on a
technicality.

WHAT HAS HANDS BUT CANNOT CLAP?
Thirty classic brain riddles, the ones worth knowing, arranged so they get trickier as
you go. The clock, the egg, the map, the echo, the candle, the shadow. Each one is a
small trapdoor: obvious the moment you see it, invisible until you do.

TAP THE LETTERS, DO NOT TYPE THEM
The answer is spelled from a bank of letters you tap one at a time. That makes it
genuinely playable by a child who cannot type quickly, by anyone on a phone in one
hand, and by anyone whose spelling in English is not perfect. If you are stuck, a hint
reveals a letter and 50-50 clears some of the wrong ones away.

BUILD YOUR OWN RIDDLE KINGDOM
Every riddle you solve raises a landmark in Riddle Kingdom, a hand-painted twilight
world of question-mark towers, lantern-lit paths, a wise owl statue and a sphinx gate.
Clear the trail and the kingdom fills in around you, guided by Ollie the owl.

RIDDLES FOR EVERYONE
The riddles run from ones a seven-year-old will get straight away to a few that will
hold up an adult for a minute. Nothing is scary, nothing is crude, and every answer is
a plain everyday word. It is a good game to hand to a child and a good one to argue
about with a friend.

DAILY REASONS TO COME BACK
Daily quests, daily rewards, a fortune cookie and a fortune wheel, plus a streak that
grows every day you play. Stars you earn carry across, and trophies and passport
stamps record what you have finished.
