Kaiten (回転) is a quiet take on the classic disc-flipping strategy game — Othello, also known as Reversi.
Place a disc so it outflanks your opponent's, and every disc between flips to your color. Simple to learn, genuinely hard to master. When neither player can move, whoever holds the most discs wins.
FULLY OFFLINE
Kaiten never needs a connection. There is no sign-in, no account, and no server. Everything — your settings, your stats, your game in progress — stays on your device. Play on a plane, on the subway, anywhere.
THREE DIFFICULTY LEVELS
Choose Easy, Medium, or Hard. The AI searches deeper at each level, so Hard will punish a careless corner. Good for a two-minute game or a long one.
TWO BOARDS
The standard 8x8 board, or a tall 8x12 variant when you want a longer game with more room to play.
DESIGNED TO BE CALM
A Japanese-inspired interface built around paper, wood, and ink. Two ambient audio themes — a Japanese garden and a rainy day — plus an off switch when you want silence. Light and dark themes, or follow your device. Optional move hints and last-move markers if you want them, and nothing on screen if you don't.
ACCESSIBLE
Full screen-reader labeling, keyboard-navigable controls, and a layout that never asks you to scroll during a game.
