Please note: One person in your playgroup has to download and install the Playgroup life tracker app on a phone, tablet or run it on PC. The tracker app is exclusively used for tracking games. Stats will be available in real-time on the website (playgroup.gg). Optionally you can all install the app and sync the game state between devices with Playgroup Device Sync.

Ever wanted to know whether you are the best EDH player in your Playgroup? Whether that friend of yours really does take 10 minutes turns? Wondering what your average damage per game is for your favorite deck?
You'll need to track life during your games anyway enhance your experience by using the Playgroup Tracker App and get answers to all of the above questions and much more.

Playgroup requires a Playgroup.gg account to keep track of all your statistics and can't be used without it.

Main Features:

+ The life counter is available on IOS/Android/Windows/Linux or in your browser. Works on mobile, tablet and pc!
+ Supports up to 6 players
+ Don't just track wins and losses, but track how much damage has been done by which player and to which player, track turn duration and of course commander damage and poison counters.
+ Intuitive UI: By using a combination of swiping gestures (swipe towards the player that you want to damage) and tapping (tap for 1 life or hold for 10 life) tracking takes little effort.
+ Player profiles: each player loads up their personal player profile into the life counter easily via QR code. Select your deck from your deck list and start tracking!
+ Backgrounds: the life counter automatically sets your Commander as your background.

+ Personalised stats: Get detailed statistics about your deck's performance. See the power level, win rate, elo rating, average kills per game, largest kill & win streaks and much more.
+ Playgroup management: create and manage playgroups, invite an unlimited number of friends.

Ratings and reviews

I've experienced a few glitches running this app on Windows 11. It seems that when running the app in full screen on Windows, the button mapping bugs out making it nearly impossible to select the right buttons. Other than that, this app has been amazing (running on Android phone). Excellent, unintrusive stat keeping. And the cumulative group stats are a real treat.

The stats are interesting, the scaling on the lifetracker app is not usable on some mobile devices though (Pixel 6 isn't usable at all). I appreciate the response below! Happy to send along screenshots. When loading in to start a new game the scaling works fine but then after a couple seconds it zooms in to like the middle 40% of the screen without being able to scroll. All the buttons end up off screen and can't be clicked as a result.

Great start for tracking deck stats! Using the app is not difficult, but it does take a little effort to ensure things are being recorded properly. My playgroup doesn't care to do this themselves, but they enjoy that I do it for us. I'm really looking forward to the updates/bug fixes and supporting this development. Their discord support is also very well organized and friendly.

What’s new

Playgroup Leagues
* Leagues let you group games in whatever way makes sense for your playgroup.
* You can create a league for a specific Commander night or event, for 3-player or 4-player games, cEDH, precons, etc.
* Each league gets its own leaderboard, ELO, and detailed stats. Playgroup admins can create and manage leagues anytime on Playgroup.gg.
* Every playgroup can create one league for free to try the feature. To unlock unlimited leagues, only one member needs to have a Supporter Pack.
