WHAT IS COURT PIECE?
Court Piece — called Rung or Rang in Pakistan, Coat Piece in India, and closely related to Hokm in Iran — is a four-player trick-taking card game from the whist family, played with a standard 52-card deck. Partners sit across from each other, the trump caller leads, and the first team to seven tricks wins the deal. Simple to learn, endlessly deep to master — which is why it has ruled South Asian card tables for generations.

Every family has its house rules and its undefeated champion. Now the table is always open.
