Simple Scoundrel is a quick, challenging solo card game. You're a lone adventurer, and the deck is your dungeon. Fight your way through 44 cards without dropping to 0 health.
HOW IT WORKS
• Clubs and spades are monsters. They deal damage equal to their value (J 11, Q 12, K 13, A 14).
• Diamonds are weapons. They reduce the damage monsters deal. Equipping a new one discards the old.
• Hearts are potions. They heal you up to 20 health, but only one potion per room works.
• Each room has 4 cards. Play 3, and the last one carries into the next room.
• You can avoid a room and send its cards to the bottom of the deck, but never two rooms in a row.
• Weapons dull: after slaying a monster, a weapon only works against weaker monsters than the last one it slew.
Every choice matters. Do you take the hit now or save your weapon for something bigger? Drink the potion or hold it for the next room? Run or fight?
