A vintage military field watch face for Wear OS.
Inspired by the British W.W.W. specification issued to
field personnel in the 1940s, this watch face keeps the
essentials of a service watch: high-contrast Arabic
numerals, a railroad minute track, and a small seconds
subdial at six o'clock.
FEATURES
- Analog hour, minute and small seconds hands
- Four dials to swap between: black or cream, each in
matte and in sunray that shifts with wrist movement
- Eight hand and marker colours: orange, ivory, yellow,
lime, green, cyan, purple and pink
- Numerals, hands and markers print in black on the
cream dials
- Vintage-correct stepped seconds movement
- Dedicated always-on display, optimised for battery
- Outer chapter ring with 60-minute scale
- Legible in direct sunlight
- Phone app: tap "Install on watch" to open the Play

DESIGN
Every element is drawn from period military field
watches: an unadorned dial, luminous-style indices, and
pencil hands with a broad arrow marker. Nothing
decorative, nothing that gets in the way of reading the
time at a glance.
Swap the dial in the watch face settings. Matte keeps
the flat, non-reflective face of a service watch; sunray
fans its grain out from the centre and catches the light
as you turn your wrist. Each finish comes in black and
in cream, and the cream dials print the numerals, hands
and markers in black so they stay sharp against the
lighter ground. Pick the hands and markers in one of
eight colours to go with it.
The always-on mode strips the dial down to its bare
structure, keeping the screen readable while using
minimal power.
