Apps are automatically sorted into categories, you won't have to waste time organizing your icons anymore! The advantages of automatic app sorting have been recognized also by Apple which introduced it in their App Library in iOS 14.

Smart Launcher requires access to the Android Accessibility API in order to provide some features like turning off the screen or showing the notification panel with a gesture. Enabling the access is optional and in any case, Smart Launcher will never collect any kind of data using this API.

Ratings and reviews

The lack of a docked bar keeps the appearance of my phone's home screen clean. The lack of clutter is something I didn't know I like until I tried it. I have NOT had any problems with crashing, freezing or any glitches to that I have found yet. I appeaes that everything is running smoother on my phone. The set up page was pretty straightforward and I also put this on my tab (glxy a7) and the consistency is great. I'm really digging this!

I would rate this much higher except for one ongoing bug - every time there is an update, it breaks every browser shortcut link I have on my desktop. They just stop working and I have to delete and recreate them. This has happened 5 - 6 times since I started using Smart Launcher. This last update is the last straw so I'm going to dump it and find another launcher.

Great launcher but always something wrong. From certain features not working for months to flat out freezing and crashing my home screen which is the most recent issue. I had to delete the data for the app. Delete the app. Reboot phone and reinstall the app to get in to work again. But loading a backup crashed it again. So I had to start from scratch rebuilding my home screen and app drawer with a themes and icon packs I had before. I bump the rating when I get a working launcher with no issues.
