The Apple version of the app is five stars due to the ability to get directions to the crossing through the app. I constantly use the locator app on my company phone (iphone). The Andriod version disappointingly doesn't the ability to open direction in another app (Google maps, wazes, etc). Also, it would be nice to have a filter for crossings with active warning devices versus passive warning devices

I use this app to locate railroad crossing for train crew pick ups. This app is quite simple and I'd like to see some feature additions, however THIS APP DOES EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS IT WILL DO. No fuss, no muss! In my experience as a professional driver who has to rely on applications like Rail Crossing Locator, I would rate it a 10/10. That's correct, it rates a perfect score, IMHO.

This use to be a good app. But now is is completely unreliable. It freezes up all the time, never shows crossing information such as inventory number, and tends to crash outright. I think the issue is with ArcGIS by Esri. We use them for other mapping needs and that doesn't work as well. The FRA needs to find a new vendor and dump Esri and their broken ArcGIS system. Until then, don't waist your time with this App
