About this app

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) annually estimates Fair Market Rents (FMRs) for 530 metropolitan areas and 2,045 nonmetropolitan county FMR areas. HUD also sets income limits annually to determine the eligibility of applicants for HUD’s assisted housing programs. FMRs are used to determine payment standard amounts for the various assisted housing programs and to serve as a rent ceiling in the HOME rental assistance program. This map-based app allows users to search FMRs and income limits by current location or by metropolitan area, county, zipcode and/or address. Download this app now to determine payment amounts and rent thresholds for HUD’s housing assistance programs, and discover the income limits established by HUD for households of different sizes in each location to determine eligibility for a variety of programs.

I used to find this application really helpful. Now for some reason it's stuck on the last county I checked on. I tried many times to check on another Country and tried by town. It's stuck on the last county and will not change. I needed this app to determine where I can afford to live in Massachusetts. I had to uninstall if it's not going to work. Very dissatisfied!

I haven't spent much time with this app as the the information in the app does not coincide with information recently received from HUD. Therefore it is a waste of my time. The app needs to reflect what is current regarding payment standards by ZIP code. Will gladly change this review if the app is updated with accurate and current information.

Great Idea, but none of the information will load. I can't click the state or county. So I can't look at any information...🙃 🤔💭 The team contacted me 2 days later, and got the issue resolved . The app is working how it's supposed to. I'm happy to have a product like this around.😁
