About this app

Welcome to NDDOT’s mobile Travel Information (511) App – ND Roads. The App is intended for use by mobile devices to view information that is relevant to the traveling public. Tap roads and icons on the map to identify features and see more information. Use the menu to add/remove map layers, save a customized view, and see the legend for active layers. Use the new Cameras tab to find cameras along common routes and regions. Please note that the NDRoads App is not to be used while driving.

Ratings and reviews

App is ok, but once you look at the roads, you have to Uninstall and reinstall to get updated conditions. If I go back into the app within a few hours of the last visit, the map is either gray or has the general zones, but the roads aren't on there, and it's unresponsive. It is the same on my Samsung phone and my wife's Samsung. That's pretty frustrating when road conditions are changing fast. I see someone else has written a similar thing.

It's a great app to find out the road conditions but I wish they can update it faster. I got caught on the road while a no travel advise was up but I checked the app way before leaving my apartment( 4am) and it said it was just drifts, and my daily drive to work is about an hour and a half going. But other than that it's a great app just needs faster updates

I am very pleased with this app, I just wish that they would update more often and would be nice to have a radar overlay so we can see what and when something is coming. Update - They do have weather radar layer now. And weather warnings and advisories. Plus the links to surrounding states is a huge bonus.
