Explore NEI’s virtual reality experience, See What I See, to check out what life might look like with common eye diseases — including age-related macular degeneration (AMD), cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy.

Ratings and reviews

Good app, but it would be helpful if there were more conditions described in it. For example, Herpes Simplex Keratitis. This condition has rendered me "legally blind" and it's difficult for me to explain to people that while I am considered blind and unable to drive anymore, I can still see but obviously not very good. It mostly affects my ability to read printed material and my depth perception.

Great app to teach others about vision impairments and gives a better understanding of how others have to cope around those losses. Hopefully all can help those with those deficits.

Good idea, but doesn't show a video on my phone. A concern that I have is that it will cause people to assume that everyone with a condition sees the same which could affect someone's life negatively for instance not allowing them to drive anymore.
