About this app

LogViewer is a flight log app for pilots of gliders, paragliders and hang gliders. Replay your IGC files beautifully, analyze your flights, and share your records with fellow pilots. No ads, ever.

■ IGC file replay
Replay your recorded IGC files as a 3D track. Climb and sink are colored by variometer values, and thermals (rising air) are visualized as columns. The weather at the time of the flight is shown as well, so you can review the conditions of the day.

■ Flight analysis
View altitude, speed and vario over time as charts. Statistics such as maximum altitude, average climb rate, altitude gained and flight duration are calculated automatically, so you can review each flight in numbers.

■ Flight Mode (flight computer — paid feature)
Flight Mode is a set of live instruments you can use while flying. It offers real-time altitude, speed and vario readouts, IGC flight recording, a return-altitude guideline, and offline maps. Flight Mode is a paid in-app purchase (¥1,000). You can try the core features for free before buying.

■ Cloud storage and sharing
Save your flight logs to the cloud and access them from multiple devices. Share your records through Peers (fellow pilots) and a public feed, and send likes to other pilots' flights.

■ Logbook
Totals your flight time by month and shows a flight-time ranking and a monthly trend graph, giving you an overview of your flying history. It is useful for reviewing your progress across a season.

■ About location
Location is collected only when you start a flight-recording session, as a foreground service. It is used to record a continuous GPS track even while the screen is off. Collection stops when you end the recording session. The app does not track you continuously in the background.

■ Who it's for
This app is intended for air-sports enthusiasts aged 13 and over. It is not a children's app.
