About this app

The Ministry of Rural Development and Food, in the context of the development and provision of new services of optimal information systems - information and service to the rural population, implemented an innovative mobile platform for "smart" devices (smartphones). The new application "i-AGRIC" provides to the factors of agricultural production and the citizens services of general information, personalized notifications, personalized information and personalized service / consulting.

1. Information services (press releases, announcements of the Ministry, etc.)

Personalized notification services - The user of the service has the option to select the categories / topics for which he is interested in receiving updates - notifications, around the items that concern the Ministry or the supervised bodies. He can also select the Regional Unit for which he wants to receive updates - notifications and / or a combination of topics and geographical area. In this way each citizen has personalized choices and receives content only for what really interests him.

3. Personalized information services - Citizens, after authentication through taxisnet, have access to personalized information services related to their requests and cases. Indicative:
• Recent payments of OPEKEPE aid
• Transfer of OPEKEPE rights
• Recent payments of ELGA compensations
• Debts to ELGA
• Administrative stage of ELGA compensation applications

4. Personalized service - counseling - Citizens after their authentication, have access to personalized service and counseling. They have the ability to submit from the mobile application, service requests for a large number of administrative procedures and / or issues of the Ministry and its supervised bodies. Citizens' requests may be accompanied by photographs and a geographical representation of the area or geographical location for which they are requesting at that time. The service requests are received by the ticketing system at the Ministry and the supervised bodies, depending on the issue of service, in order to process it. The response of the Service is sent to the mailbox of the user's mobile phone.
