About this app

WorkTime turns a tablet or mobile into a time clock at the entrance of your business. Employees scan their card and attendance or departure is recorded instantly, with a single gesture.

HOW IT WORKS
• Place the device on a stand at the entrance.
• The employee shows their card to the camera.
• The application recognizes the employee, displays their name and records the punch.
• When there is only one action available, the recording is done automatically, without pressing.

QUICK CONNECTION
Connect the device to your company in a few seconds: scan the QR code from the WorkTime “Scan Points” page or enter the 8-character pairing code. Each device is associated with a specific branch and scan point.

OFFLINE OPERATION
If the connection is lost, the recording continues normally. The punches are securely stored on the device and sent automatically when the network is restored. The employee list is maintained locally, so names are displayed even offline.

CLEAR EMPLOYEE NOTIFICATION
• Large, easy-to-read result screen with color, sound and vibration.
• Display of the difference from the time slot during recording.
• Protection against double punches when the card is scanned again within a few minutes.
• Clear messages for invalid cards or inactive employees.

MANAGER CONTROL
The behavior of each scanning point, such as automatic recording and breaks, is configured centrally from the web application, without requiring access to the device. On the device, settings are protected by an optional four-digit PIN and include:
• Selection of front or rear camera.
• Enable or disable sound.
• View pending hits and send manually.
• Login, company, branch and location information.
• Notification when device clock deviates from server time.

DESIGNED FOR KIOSK
• The screen remains on while the app is in scanning mode.
• Clean, minimalistic full-screen interface, in Greek.
• Works on a tablet in a stand with the front camera or on a mobile with the rear camera.

REQUIREMENTS
To use the app, a company account in WorkTime and employee cards issued by it are required. The camera is used exclusively for scanning cards and QR codes. No images are stored or sent.

• Επιβεβαίωση προσέλευσης εκτός ωραρίου: όταν ένας εργαζόμενος σαρώνει την κάρτα του εκτός του ωραρίου του, π.χ. το βράδυ μετά τη λήξη ή σε ρεπό, η εφαρμογή δεν καταγράφει αμέσως την προσέλευση. Εμφανίζει προειδοποίηση και ο εργαζόμενος πατά «Προσέλευση» μόνο αν ξεκινά πράγματι εργασία. Έτσι αποφεύγονται λανθασμένες υποβολές στο ΕΡΓΑΝΗ.
