About this app

NB Scanner is the event check-in app for door and gate staff. It turns any phone into a QR ticket scanner for events run with the NB Events WordPress plugin by Nanobyte.

Point the camera at a ticket's QR code and you get an instant, full-screen verdict: green for valid, red for already used or cancelled. Each result has its own sound and vibration, so staff don't have to stare at the screen — even in a dark, loud entrance, event entry keeps moving.

• Live attendee check-in numbers, broken down by ticket type, updating in real time.
• Each event's own brand colour appears in the app automatically.

FOR ANY ORGANIZER
• Staff scan a one-time setup code and the app connects to that organizer's events.
• Secure personal logins for each staff member, with a full audit trail: who checked in whom, and from which device.
• Fully bilingual: English and Greek.

GOOD TO KNOW
• NB Scanner is a staff tool, not a ticket shop. It requires a staff account on an event site running the NB Events WordPress event ticketing plugin. If your organizer uses NB Events, ask them for your login and setup code.
• Check-in happens online, so the door needs an internet connection (mobile data or Wi-Fi). An offline mode is planned.
