ChargedUp - Europe’s phone charging network

Ever found yourself out and about desperately looking to charge your phone? We’ve all been there and it sucks! Never have to worry about your phone dying again. ChargedUp is there when you need it; rent a power bank and you can take it with you to return at over 2000 stations across Europe!


What is ChargedUp?

ChargedUp has created a station network for portable power bank. Rent a power bank and use it while at that venue, or take it with you and charge on the go. Power banks come with their own lightning port, no need to have your own cable.


How does it work?

Open the ChargedUp app to find your closest station

Scan the QR code on the station to rent a power bank

Plug in using the cable included and charge on the go

Return the power bank to any station shown in the app’s map

How do I pay?

Set up your form of payment in the app, including cards and Google Pay. Scan a station’s QR code, select your pricing plan and rent a power bank -- it’ll pop out of a station like a piece of toast!


No stress; we cap your daily spending and prompt you to remember to return it. If you choose to keep it, you'll be charged its purchase price and then be able to swap it across our network.

Ratings and reviews

First time using and was not happy. A few things wrong, power bank would not return, bar would not take it as it is third party, open slot record on app were wrong in all 3 bars and one bar did not take as no longer supplying when they were still listed on app. For the use of these banks, it needs to be better as spent more time and battery sorting out the problem which is the two things it should help towards. Shame

Horrible user experience 1. The powerbank stopped charging after 20 minutes. It's very slow to charge and I got less than 5% charge before it stopped working. I tried the power button many times with no luck. I had to go back to return it and got charged for an hour anyway. 2. I created a support ticket but got no response. 3. Not all the charging stations are accessible for public. The nearest one I went to was an opera and it was only for people attending the event.

Incredibly slow charger and hassle to get one. Didn't work with Google Pay, tried 3 times and just ended up in an infinite loop. Ended up having to enter my card details and it kept on asking me to verify in my bank app. Took me 10 minutes to finally get a charger. It's now 1 hour later and I went up 3%. What a waste of money and time. Very frustrating. It has some friend referral thing written on the powerbank. No idea why I would refer a friend.
