GreenWeb: Connect the World is a social map game that connects people around the world through an interactive map.
Users can create an account, optionally allow location access, and place a privacy-protected point on the map. Each point has a small random offset to protect the user’s precise location.
The goal is to build a global network. By connecting with others, users expand their personal network and together gradually color the world map green. Users can place and upgrade beacons that expand their influence on the map.
GreenWeb includes an optional Pedometer feature. Users can view their current-day steps and activity statistics, and earn optional in-game meters by walking. On Android, a user may choose to connect Health Connect from Walking → Pedometer. After explicit consent, GreenWeb reads only the current-day step total and hourly step aggregates to display activity statistics and calculate in-game walking meters. GreenWeb does not read step cadence, heart rate, distance, calories, sleep, medical records, or other health data. It does not write data to Health Connect, use health data for advertising, or share it with third parties.
Main features:
- Registration and login with email, Google, or Apple
- Privacy-protected map point
- Social connections and networks
- Beacons, upgrades, and progression
- Virtual in-game currency: meters
- Optional pedometer, daily activity statistics, and walking rewards
GreenWeb does not require continuous location tracking. Location is used only when the user actively uses map features.
