A Live Wallpaper of Falling Characters on your screen. Should make anyone feel like a hacker.
This is a simple live wallpaper which will create a customized characters matrix to provide a hacker like experience on your mobile device.


You can customize what characters can be displayed or what would be the speed of the characters falling. This app will give your mobile a hacker like feeling to it.
It has multiple options like
- Speed of characters falling

- Color of falling characters

- Color of background

- Size of Characters

- Characters changing speed

- You can define your own Character set or use one of the given.

- Enabling/disabling Depth to make some characters appear behind other characters.

This wallpaper is optimized to use minimum amount of battery as any other regular live wallpaper despite the constant animations.

Multiple customizable settings like
- the characters from the Matrix! Try it out by clicking on the "Character set" setting.
- set size of falling characters
- set color of background and falling characters

You can either set the wallpaper in the Android wallpaper settings, or click the "Set as wallpaper" option in the app itself.

Ratings and reviews

Overall, not bad. Plenty of useful options in the settings, including character set. It's a bit on the Lo-fi side, and the animation is somewhat choppy, but slowing it down helps. The app needs a bit more tweaking to how the bits change to give it a more authentic matrix code look, and maybe a refresh rate option for newer screens... I give it 3/5, but it's way better than the umpteen other 4* rated adware fodder I've tried.

I looked at a lot of reviews for different matrix apps and settled on this one and I'm really happy with it. No catch, no ads or anything, doesn't ask for any device permissions. My only complaint is that the text can be a bit jumpy instead of scrolling smoothly is you set it to go to fast, but it's really a minor concern. I highly recommend it. Don't be scared off by the "hacker" in the name :P

Fantastic! I tried several other "Matrix" live wallpapers and frankly all were awful. There was always something wrong with the character density/speed/colour etc. Which made them look not only unauthentic, but also just plain ugly and unpleasant. But this app nailed it! They actually allow you to customize every possible aspect of the animation if you like, however I haven't even found this necessary as the default settings are perfect right out of the box! Thank You, Developer/Appseries!
