About this app
HarpSight teaches you to read sheet music directly at the harp.
Watch notes move across the grand staff toward a golden strike line, then pluck the corresponding string—either on screen or on your own lever harp. With Harp Mode enabled, your device listens via the microphone to confirm every note you play in real time.
🎵 BUILT SPECIFICALLY FOR THE HARP
Real-Time Acoustic Listening: Set your phone on your music stand. HarpSight detects the acoustic resonance of your actual lever harp strings as you play.
Harp-First Fundamentals: Lessons start where harpists begin—distinguishing red Cs and black/blue Fs, navigating the grand staff across both clefs, reading rhythms, and mastering key signatures and accidentals.
Fingering by Traditional Rules: Sight-reading exercises written intentionally for harpists, adhering to proper hand placement and classical harp mechanics.
Lever Configurations: Tell HarpSight whether your base tuning is C or Eâ™. Before every piece, an intuitive visual guide shows you exactly which levers to engage.
Integrated Tuner: A built-in harp tuner designed to detect individual string pitches accurately.
🎼 6 DEDICATED PRACTICE MODES
Learn: Step-by-step introduction to reading notes, ledger lines, and intervals.
Flow: Continuous sight-reading without abrupt stops to build natural reading rhythm.
Rush: Fast-paced recognition drills to train instant reflex identification.
Play-Along: Interactive exercises synced to musical accompaniment.
Golden Hour: Relaxed, low-pressure reading sessions designed for mindful practice.
Spotlight: Targeted practice focusing strictly on your trouble notes and weak spots.
🌿 CALM, HONEST & UNCOMPROMISINGLY PRIVATE
Zero Telemetry: No user accounts, logins, tracking analytics, or external servers.
100% Offline: The microphone listens locally on your device's hardware. Your audio and practice data never leave your phone.
Constellation Progress: Every completed exercise illuminates a star in a growing harp constellation.
Honest Practice Tracking: Precise logging of active practice minutes—today, this week, and all-time.
No Subscriptions: Enjoy the Prelude tier completely free. Upgrade once to Etude via a single in-app purchase to unlock every level, key signature, and advanced exercise forever.
