About this app

BRASS is an independent, community-run platform that connects people who
need urgent help with nearby, verified community volunteers ("Sevaks")
who can respond in minutes.

IF YOU NEED HELP
• Raise an SOS in one tap — no account needed.
• Nearby Sevaks are alerted and routed to you.
• Watch help converge in a live view — who's responding, how far away
they are, and when they arrive.

IF YOU WANT TO HELP — BECOME A SEVAK
• Sign in with your phone number and apply to be a Sevak.
• Get verified by the BRASS team (identity + trusted contact).
• Go "On duty" when you're free to respond; you'll be alerted when
someone nearby needs help and shown the way.

PRIVACY & LOCATION
• Your location is shared only while you are "On duty," so dispatch can
route you to people nearby who need help — including in the background,
shown by an ongoing "BRASS — on duty" notification. Going "Off duty"
stops it.
• We store your most recent position, not a location history.
• You can delete your account and data anytime in Settings, or at
https://brass.help/delete-account.
