About this app
This App was designed to assist you in parametrizing the SIEMENS MAG8000-GSM-Module.
You
- will never make any typos again, when trying to create configuration sms.
- will never need a manual again, to see the description behind parameters like P3 e.g.
- will (almost) never need to investigate SMS-Center-Numbers or APNs over the internet.
- see all alarms in clear words
- can easily preconfigure all your data and send it later through a few clicks.
- can load a configuration-file, which has been sent from the module, to see all of the parameters.
- can store as many configurations as you wish.
It took quite some time to enter all of the SMS-Center/APN-Data of all those different providers.
I'm quite sure, this data is far away from being perfect and i probably forgot a few providers.
Feel free to drop me a mail, and i will change it for the next release.
A few words about the rights the app needs:
- modify/delete SD card contents
The app needs this right to save/load/modify the configuration files to the sd-card (in a folder called MAG8000).
- full Internet access
This sounds much more dangerous as it is: The F.A.Q. has an external link to wikipedia...
