The multiplayer struggles a bit. You only get matched if there happens to be another player who happens to pick the same song and difficulty as you. With an ever growing library of songs, matches will decrease. The solution; a quick match button. This will allow you to queue up for any song and any difficulty as long as you own the song. Also, the energy limit reduces the number of active players. Is it being used in microtransactions? If not, it can be removed.

Really amazing take on a rhythm game, however the controls can be bit finnicky and the toolbar on my samsung a10e gets in the way. I don't mind though, and it hardly takes away from the game! :) edit: It never connects to the server. I uninstalled it temporarily to make space; now i cant redownload the data i previously lost, it wont connect to the server.

The mobile phone platform is in dire need of fresh rhythm games, and games like Hachi Hachi contribute greatly to the selection we currently have. It serves mainly as a Mai Mai clone, and introduces a few elements to make up for the difficulty loss that comes from the smaller screen, such as triple notes. All in all, a solid game and I hope it lasts a long time. Edit: I don't know why this game hasn't been pulled yet, considering the server was shut off years ago. This game is unplayable.
