Turn a compatible ELM327 adapter into a live trip computer for your car.

hobDrive brings vehicle data, OBD2 diagnostics, trip history, fuel costs, and maintenance planning together in one app. Connect through Bluetooth, Bluetooth LE, or Wi-Fi and use detailed dashboards on your Android phone or tablet.

Before purchasing, use the included 30-day evaluation period to confirm compatibility with your vehicle, phone, and adapter.

DRIVE WITH USEFUL DATA
- Monitor available values such as speed, RPM, coolant temperature, battery voltage, fuel level, and fuel trims
- Track fuel consumption, economy, idling, distance, and time by trip, day, week, since fueling, or manual Trip A/B period
- Estimate remaining range and driving time from the fuel left in the tank

UNDERSTAND VEHICLE PROBLEMS
- Read OBD2 trouble codes and monitor new engine-code warnings during a trip
- See code descriptions and use the AI assistant to help interpret a code or vehicle symptom
- Receive warnings for conditions such as overheating or unusual fuel trims

VEHICLE AND PROTOCOL COVERAGE
hobDrive supports standard OBD2 PIDs and extended sensors for selected Toyota, Toyota Prius, Ford, Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda, Chevrolet, and Nissan vehicles. It also supports selected non-OBD2 protocols, including Delphi MR240, Delphi MT20U, Bosch, VAZ Yanvar 5/7, Micas, Itelma, JDM Nissan and Toyota, and Siemens systems used by some Alfa Romeo, Fiat, and Samand vehicles.

Support is also available for selected hybrid, electric, diesel, and dual-fuel vehicles. The exact sensors and functions depend on the vehicle, ECU, adapter, and connection configuration.

ADDITIONAL TOOLS
- GPS- or ELM327-based acceleration, quarter-mile, and braking measurements
- Estimated engine power and torque
- Fuel-consumption calculations using MAF, MAP, injector timing, or ECU fuel-flow data when available

TRIAL AND COMPATIBILITY
The free download includes 30 days of full functionality. After the trial, the app continues in Limited mode. Unlock full functionality with a one-time in-app purchase through Google Play, with no subscription. You can restore the purchase using the same Google account.

Many vehicles need a specific connection profile. If hobDrive cannot connect to your ELM327 adapter, contact support so we can help check the configuration.

GPS NOTICE
hobDrive can use GPS to record trip tracks. In the current Google Play version, vehicle connectivity and trip recording are intended for use while the app is open; Android may stop them in the background. GPS use increases battery consumption, so a charger is recommended for longer drives.

Problems connecting to elm327 and then it shows completely bogus data regarding fuel economy. Like over 11 L/h when idle and over 390 L/100 km when driving... Half I didn't just buy it. The interface is ok, but there's a lot to sort...

Bought it at some point a few years back, had to uninstall and now I'm stuck with demo. App is solid though. Cannot remember how I activated it.

installed itself. so I never installed this and for some reason it's here on my phone. And it's disabled. Don't know how long it's been here, I don't know what app snuck in and put this here but I didn't do it and I don't like it. And I'm not going to open it it's just getting a bad review because it showed up like that. uninstalling it and every other app because somebody is up to no good.
