Hold Entry Visualizer shows you the correct entry into an IFR holding pattern, in real time.

When ATC clears you to hold, you have seconds to decide: Direct, Teardrop, or Parallel? This app answers that question at a glance. Set the hold, and it compares the hold with your aircraft's current heading, highlights the entry sector you are in, and draws the recommended entry path on the holding pattern diagram.

HOW IT WORKS
- Live heading from your device's GPS ground track, with an optional compass fallback when there is no GPS fix
- Specify the hold by inbound radial or by inbound track (heading)
- Left-hand or right-hand turns, one tap to switch
- Drag on the diagram to change the hold radial, or set it in Settings
- Large, clear graphics that are easy to read in the cockpit
- Optional spoken entry through a Bluetooth headset
- Keep-screen-on option while the app is active

GREAT FOR TRAINING TOO
Change the hold radial or turn direction, and watch the entry type and pattern change. It is an easy way to see why one entry is better than the others, and to practice hold entries before your checkride or proficiency check.
