About this app

HOPR Bike Share and Scooter Share systems power rides across North America, providing millions of people with smart transit options. Our rides come with electric assist, which makes hoppin’ around easy & fun.

Use HOPR Transit to access bike share, scooter share, ride share, and public transit. Find a ride, plan your route, and keep track of your budget with one app.

Sign up for a pass or top up your wallet to get started. You can unlock up to four bikes or scooters at once by scanning their QR codes, so feel free to bring your friends!

To end your ride, park in a HOPR Pond and lock your bike. If you're in a rush or want to pause your ride, you can park anywhere in your system area as long as it's safe.

For longer commutes, access ride share or hop on a bus. Compare all your options and get there fast with HOPR.

One of the absolute worst experiences I've ever had with a shared system. Tried using a bike, paused the ride, and then I immediately got kicked off. Tried signing in again to the bike, and it wouldn't connect. Tried the other 3 bikes at the station...one had handlebars that were totally sideways and two gave me errors saying "equipment not found". App doesn't let you try and unlock something until you've put in $20 minimum to your account. Save your money, use Lime.

1. Notifies you continuously that your ride is ended. Like 40 times after you lock your bike. Quitting the app makes no difference. 2. Also wouldn't accept my card the second usage, said I needed to add funds to the wallet, no matter what card I then used and despite it working fine the first time. I needed to add a minimum of $25 and I'm only here for a day. 3. No indication given that if you don't return to a spot marked 'P' on the map that there would be an additional charge.

Overcharged me. I rode less than 30 minutes and they charged me double what was quoted on the bike. Instructions to end the ride were not clear. Having to leave your bike in a designated location or "hub" at the end of the ride was annoying, and it took several tries to end the ride in the hub due to GPS drift. Bike quality is below average. Would not use again.
