The social security factor is a multiplier number, also called a coefficient. It is the result of the calculation made using a formula when the INSS calculates the benefit.
The calculation takes 3 things into account:
- The age
- Contribution time
- The life expectancy of the insured
In other words, the social security factor will be higher in cases where age and contribution time are also higher.
The INSS's intention with this is that the value of the retirement is proportional to the insured's age and contribution time.
This application makes the calculation and shows what factor will be applied by the INSS to calculate the value of your benefit.
Remembering that the application performs a simulation and is not valid as proof to obtain the value of the benefit from the INSS.
