About this app

CanAirIO is a citizen science initiative for air quality tracking, visualization and dissemination by using PM2.5 particulate material and CO2 sensors paired with your smartphone via Bluetooth making mobile stations, also to make air quality fixed stations with your WiFi only.

!!! Now we have an easy web installer!!! Upload the CanAIrIO firmware to any ESP32 board, only with your Chrome or Edge browser and a USB cable.

It is a OpenSource/ OpendData/ OpenHardware initiative


- Two possible modes: Air quality mobile and fixed stations
- Record air quality routes using your GPS and Bluetooth and share it
- Configure your device via your phone, WiFi, temperature offset or co2 calibration for example.
- Set the WiFi credentials to have a fixed station
- Add new sensors to your smart house, because is CanAirIO is Home Assistant capable.
- Set your own cloud using InfluxDB or use our open-source, open-data cloud.
- Connect multiples sensors to your device, PAX Counter, PM2.5, CO2 and environmental sensors.
