Blue Eye is an application designed for the systematic recording of data on the occurrence of marine organisms and marine pollution with the aim of increasing knowledge about the sea and its effective protection.
Anyone who resides in the countryside, on land or on, and in the sea, while walking, mountain climbers, diving, sailing or swimming can report the observation of an unusual event which threatens the current state of the environment. During the meeting with the unknown, interesting or potentially dangerous species you can find out what you have seen, that the type of plant or animal protected, rare or dangerous.
Your submission on the application Blue Eye and filling out the data, you will receive as soon as possible information about your observation in nature, an unusual event or a series of recorded along the coast, in or on the surface of the sea. At the same time, registered data specialists receive useful information that assists them in further research and feedback data captured row properly inform the public.
By submitting photos and information citizens actively participate and assist in scientific research (Citizen Science), thus achieving a better overview of a particular organism and effectively take measures to protect the Adriatic Sea
The purpose of using the application is quick mutual information and education of citizens as well as the effective operation of the responsible departments and experts in solving potential problems in protecting the Adriatic Sea. When encountering an unknown, interesting or potentially dangerous species, you can find out what they are, whether a plant or animal is protected, rare or dangerous.
By logging in to the Blue Eye application and filling in your data, you will receive, as soon as possible, information about your observation of nature, an unusual event, or recorded species on the seashore, in or on the surface of the sea. At the same time, with the data recorded, experts get useful information that serves them in further research and in properly informing the public on the recorded species.
By delivering photos and information, a person can actively participate and assist in scientific research (Citizen Science), thus achieving a better insight in the movement of a given organism and more effective measures for the protection of the Adriatic Sea.
