About this app

Promet mobile application is a free application for your smartphone. The application is intuitive and allows you to interact with Promet's services more easily. As a user of the application you can:

• Top up your eWallet and buy tickets for a single trip
• Use the full functionality of the application and buy monthly/yearly coupons
• Plan your trip
• Get a mapped display of all bus stops and vehicle positions in real time
• View timetables, adding individual lines to favorites
• Get information about sales points
• Contact Transport

The application works for registered and unregistered users.
For registered users, access data is used as in the WEB portal.

Available on Androids and iOS operating system.

Note: for certain options of the mobile application, it is necessary to activate the full user profile. This can be done at Promet's sales locations. Replenishment of eWallet funds is done with debit/credit cards. A pre-purchased ticket cannot be used in offline mode.

Ratings and reviews

Not sure where all the bad comments are coming from - the app is very easy to use. You can put in your start point and destination and it gives you the price (very reasonable) and a full timetable. I think most of the negativity is from folk misunderstanding that you can't buy tickets well in advance (but them just before you get the bus, then activate them by scanning the app QR code on the bus scanner).

Great bus system, and easy to use for visitors. The app desperately needs a map that shows all the routes in one place. Very cumbersome to figure out connecting buses just with the app and I found myself cross referencing Google maps to get the info needed. Also, used tickets should also automatically be removed from 'my tickets' once expired. That's what the 'used tickets' section is there for.

SCAM We tried to use this app for bus tickets since there were no vending machines at our bus stop and in the app the one-time ticket is 1€ instead of 2€ from the driver. So I had done the registration and recharged 5€ of credit for tickets - one ticket OK, but the next day the app refused to log me in (the login has "expired"), so in a desperate attempt I had repeated the registration with IDENTICAL email address (which shouldnt even be possible) and saw my wallet there was EMPTY (4€ lost).
