The Balaton Museum App is an interactive mobile application presenting the cultural and natural values ​​of Lake Balaton, offering a meaningful experience to visitors and those interested in Lake Balaton. The application's three main functions enable exciting and informative exploration for all ages.

During the interactive guided tour, users can learn about the fascinating history of the formation of Lake Balaton, its natural features, and the rich culture of the area up to the present day. Thematic routes, informative descriptions, multimedia content, and map navigation help visitors understand the exhibitions and create a personalized experience. An audio tour of the exhibitions is available, which guides visitors with narrations in multiple languages, allowing for independent, in-depth exploration of the exhibitions.

The programs menu always contains up-to-date information about the museum's temporary exhibitions, as well as the popular escape room games, which provide a team-building and entertaining program for young and old.

The treasure hunt game invites users to a real time journey: they can take on the role of different characters – geologist, sailor, archaeologist, zoologist, ethnographer or historian – and complete exciting tasks in the museum’s exhibition halls. The thematic challenges and puzzles related to each role deepen their knowledge of Lake Balaton and its surroundings in a playful way.
