About this app

The EESZT mobile application provides a simple and convenient solution for all citizens with a TAJ number and electronic identification to display their health documents using their mobile device.

The application, which is available free of charge, makes his medical documents available after identifying the person concerned - based on the health data stored in the EESZT.

In the future, it is possible to enable simplified access, which allows you to display, for example, documents that have already been downloaded, even without an Internet connection.

In the application, the following health data of you and the persons specified in the representative right(s) are displayed:
- eRecipes, prescriptions for medical aids
- health documents
- referrals
- GP data
- booked appointments
- TAJ validity, TB legal relationship status
- Maternity care book (if such a document is available)

Don't let the overwhelming amount of technologically inept reviewers fool you, the developers made signing in as straightforward as possible provided you have an ugyfelkapu account, which is pretty much mandatory at this point. The app itself is quite well designed by the standards of the hungarian softwer development scene, the only issue I encountered was that the program automatically launched using the english interface, which was not an issue for me, but could be for the elderly.

There should be some kind of a warning / check if you have a default browser selected for opening web pages. I'm using multiple browsers, so I didn't and hence I was unable to login and there weren't any kind of error messages or tips. Once I have selected a default application for opening URLs (chrome!) then I was able to login through Ügyfélkapu authentication. Otherwise it's working perfectly fine, very good progress since the first available version. Great experience.

Didn't know what to do during registration, I needed a third party explanation to know which EESZT website to start on. That is bad. But once there, everything was self evident and registration had no issues. However, needing 2 devices for a registration is unseen of, unnecessary, idiotic, and I understand how most people couldn't make it work. The app is of very poor programming, and does the same thing as photographing your card...
