About this app

The Smart Espresso Profiler is an easy to use tool to record and improve your espresso extractions. It gives all compatible espresso machines capabilities, which were only seen in the most advanced, state of the art devices. Imagine perfectly repeatable pressure- and flow profiling with a modified vintage lever machine, or a modern pump machine, with instant feedback.

The app needs an Acaia Lunar, or Acaia Pearl scale for flow profiling.
A pressure sensor for pressure profiling is available on the developer's website.

This app can take your espresso game zu the next level. Really cool app for measuring and recording your espresso extraction profile based on data from a bluetooth enabled digital scale and an optional pressure bluetooth sensor which can be attached to any standard E61 group. Together, this is a game changer in repeatable espresso brewing results. One question: I read that there is a feature to autostart measuring when weight or pressure change is indicated. How can this feature be activated?

It is a fantastic and very useful app. I use it to connect to a Profitec P700 with flow control (and installed a 3rd party pressure profiler device from Naked Portafilter in Hungary). I also connect the app to an Acaia coffee scale. The profiles I get from the app are incredibly useful for dialling in espresso or wider experimentation. I feel like I'm flying blind without it. Cannot recommend it highly enough

Great and well designed app! Great for the specialty coffee nerds like myself especially when paired with an acaia scale. One thing I wish the app had was a "comparison" feature that could overlay mutiple graphs (2 or even 3) from your history for comparison. It could display in full-screen similar to the "overview" screen. This feature I would love to see implemented.
