Register your card in the RaiPay app today and enjoy the benefits of Android mobile payments.
Use it with your mobile device running Android 8 or higher, which supports NFC payments and has access to the Google Play Store.

Why use it?
• Quickly and securely make purchases in stores with your Android device without physically using your bank card
• You can also use it for cash withdrawals in HUF from Raiffeisen ATMs domestically
• Secure: Before every transaction, you must unlock your device in the manner set on your device, and for high-value transactions (and certain devices), you must also provide the previously set RaiPay PIN / biometric authentication in the app
• Register loyalty cards
• During payments, neither your mobile device nor the RaiPay app stores or shares your physical card details with merchants

Practical advice:
• Enabling the NFC function
Before making a payment, always check if the NFC function on your mobile phone is turned on. For Xiaomi phones, do not forget to set the appropriate NFC type ("Use HCE wallet").
• Setting RAIPAY as the default mobile payment solution
If you want to use RaiPay, set the app as the default mobile payment solution on your device, making mobile payments even more convenient for you.

Payment and cash withdrawal with the RaiPay app
• To use the RaiPay app, all you need to do is unlock your device as set (using fingerprint recognition, face recognition, PIN, or pattern) before each transaction, and for high-value transactions (and certain devices), you will also need to provide the previously set RaiPay PIN / biometric authentication in the app. Wait for the phone to confirm the transaction.
• For ATM cash withdrawals, hold your mobile device to the reader. If necessary, the device may request authentication
• If you have registered more than one bank card in the RaiPay app, you have the option to set a default card that the app will automatically use for payments. If you want to pay with a different card than the default, open the app before the transaction, select another card, and then hold the phone to the terminal.
• Internet connection: during the registration of the app, at login, and when adding cards, an internet connection is required. For payments or withdrawals, you don't need this; just turn on the NFC reader.

Payments
Before every transaction, you need to unlock your device as configured (using fingerprint recognition, face recognition, PIN, or pattern) and for high-value transactions (and certain devices), also provide the previously set RaiPay PIN / biometric authentication in the app, thus approving the transaction. During payments, neither your mobile device nor the RaiPay app stores or shares your physical card details with merchants.

Loyalty cards
• If you have loyalty cards, you can easily add them to the app, edit them, collect points, and use them for purchases.

You can use it abroad
RaiPay can also be used abroad at any acceptance point where contactless payment is possible.

Even if I disable the extended security feature, it always asks for a pin at contactless payment. To make it even more awkward, you can not just open the app, enter your pin, then point it to the card reader - nop, you FIRST have to try to pay, THEN it asks for a pin, finally you can try again - but by that time, half of the terminals cancelled the transaction, so they have to start over. This is a HUGE developer FAIL for usability. Guys, it's 2024, and this problem has been around for a YEAR!

Lately it does not work for me. I get the confirmation that the payment was OK, and then 8/10 times I get called back to the cash register, that the payment was unsuccessful. It worked fine, but now I can't use it. Also why do I get random PIN requests? I have biometric authentication, only my fingerprints can open the phone and app. We should be able to disable it...

It proves to be unusuable time after time. Already had to reset it a couple of times, now it just fails and flickers continuously again. The extended security feature cannot be disabled, it always resets, so you have to enter your PIN code each time, which is annoying and slow. It's slow even without the PIN code input, Google Wallet is way faster. Many peole have complained about the extended security issue, but nothing happened since months. Developers are incompetent if they cannot reproduce.
