About this app
The MosquiTUNE mobile app is designed to allow users to record mosquito sounds as well as submit photos of mosquitoes. With the help of the data collected in this way, the geographical distribution of different mosquito species can be monitored. Based on the submitted audio and video recordings, the project team can provide users with manual feedback on the detected species, and the data is processed to train artificial intelligence (AI) models. The goal is to develop automatic systems that can recognize different mosquito species based on sound and image data.
