Permissions
• VPN (on-device filter): blocks known scam and phishing hosts before they load. Stays on your device (a filter, not a proxy), and is not used to route, collect or sell your browsing.
• Accessibility Service: reads on-screen text of AI chat apps to warn you about unsafe or manipulative AI replies, and in Family mode to enforce a parent's app blocks. Personal-use analysis happens only on-device. In Family mode, a flagged excerpt on a child's phone is sent end-to-end encrypted to the parent's device for review; AEGISITE's servers cannot read it. AEGISITE is a security and parental-control app, not an accessibility tool for people with disabilities.

What’s new

New guided setup: pick your language, sign in, and see a live scan of the AI apps on your phone. Sign in with Apple is now available on Android. Subscription terms and legal links are shown on the plans screen. Fake-app protection: AEGISITE now alerts you if an AI app's publisher signature changes.
