AEGISITE is an AI antivirus. Your classic antivirus hunts malware — AEGISITE hunts AI: it finds the AI apps on your phone, watches what they do, and blocks the new class of attacks aimed at them and at you.

Permissions and how AEGISITE uses them

VPN (on-device network filter): AEGISITE runs a local, on-device VPN that blocks connections to known malicious or unsafe AI services before they load. It is a filter, not a proxy: the VPN stays on your device and is never used to route, collect, or sell your browsing.

Accessibility Service: AEGISITE uses the Accessibility Service to read the on-screen text of AI chat apps, so it can warn you about unsafe or manipulative AI replies, and (in Family mode) to enforce the app blocks a parent has set. For personal use this analysis happens only on your device. In Family mode, when something harmful is detected on a child's phone, the flagged excerpt is sent end-to-end encrypted to the parent's device so they can review it, and AEGISITE's servers cannot read it. AEGISITE is a security and parental-control app, not an accessibility tool for people with disabilities.

What’s new

Payments work on every device: plan prices load again and a purchase can be started.
Switching from Family to Personal now works. The change takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
After you cancel, your plan stays until the end of the paid period instead of dropping to Free straight away.
