Neligh is nestled in northeast Nebraska, approximately 30 minutes west of Norfolk along highways 275 and 14. Neligh is the county seat of Antelope County and is home to approximately 1,600 people.
Neligh realizes the importance of its historic treasures and history. Working with History Nebraska, Certified Local Government (CLG), Neligh received a generous grant to develop and promote the Discover Neligh app. The self-guided tour will take you throughout town spotlighting the uniquely Neligh destinations. While visiting Neligh, we encourage you to visit our amazing local eateries, retail stores, and antique stores.
Destinations incorporated in the tour include Neligh Mill Historic Site, Antelope County Museum, Pierson Wildlife Museum, One Room School House, White Buffalo Girl Grave, Trail of Tears Marker, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Riverside Park – Shade On Memorial, New Moon Theater, Starlight Drive-In Theater, Neligh Chamber – Economic Development Office Sears Modern Home, Historic Old Mill District, Laurel Hill Cemetery, Antelope County Courthouse, Rainbow Fountain, Carnegie Library, and the Cowboy Trail.
