The iSmartAlarm Home Security System is a DIY, self-controlled and self-monitored smart home security system with no monthly fees and no contracts required.

The iSmartAlarm app allows you to arm, monitor, and disarm your iSmartAlarm Home Security System at any time, from anywhere, in real-time. You can see who is home, when family members leave or return, and the status of every sensor and device.

The iSmartAlarm app manages all of your iSmartAlarm products, including Contact Sensors, Motion Sensors, iCamera (1st Gen), iCamera KEEP, Smart Switch, and more. Multiple homes and systems can be managed easily in the same app.

iSmartAlarm will alert all designated members with SMS text messages*, push notifications, automated phone calls*, and email when the iSmartAlarm Home Security System detects a break-in or unauthorized activity. Users can then choose how to address the situation appropriately - A call can be placed to the police in case of a break-in, or the alarm can be ignored and the system set to Arm again if it is a false alarm. (*Phone call and SMS messages available in US and Canada only).

UPDATE: If you updated the app alarm functionality gets removed. To fix uninstall the current version, disable auto updates in the app store and download the old version. You can find it by searching google for "ismartalarm apk app archive". Install any version from 2019 or older. You will also need to enable the option to allow 3rd party apps. During the install you should be prompted. Hopefully this will give you time to find a better system. I am going to buy Abode

The product just arrived. I followed the steps, download this app and i get an error saying iSmartAlarm keeps stopping and the program closes. What gives??? I spent $150 on the new years sale and i have a bunch of paper weights. I should put $150 worth of cash and make a trail leading up to my neighbors house, it would be a better deterrent and investment than this. Product is not functioning and unacceptable, this needs to be repaired tonight.

This app and monitoring system is essentially useless to us now. After dealing with issues for a couple months with no resolve we are trashing the entire system and going with something else. A year and half or so ago when we bought the ismart system it worked great. I guess with the growth of the company they were unable to keep up with the glitches of their app. I've had numerous issues with the app, and now it does not notify me when a door is opened in my home (a really helpful feature). Over the last year the app has been extremely finicky. Will freeze, no notifications, inoperable, ect. It seems like the company doesn't care to correct the issues that are plaguing their product. This is also apparent after reaching out to them. Find an alternate monitoring system for your home.
