Diabetes Mellitus Medical Doctor Assistant (DM MDAssist) is an application to support medical decision-making for diabetes patients aimed at clinicians (doctors). The MDAssist DM application contains tools that can help and support better medical decision-making for diabetes patients. The superior feature of the MDAssist DM application is pharmacotherapy recommendations, where this feature is able to provide recommendations for the right class of diabetes drugs based on basic health data and consideration of various indications, contraindications, and side effects of various available diabetes treatment regimens. In addition, there are also various other supporting features such as a body mass index calculator, and a calculator for calculating the total daily calorie needs.
