What it does?

• See how each rate has moved over the last 24 hours
• A converter with a real keypad, and one tap to swap the direction
• Conversion history, so the number you worked out yesterday is still there
• A home screen widget showing your favourites, with a shortcut into the converter
• English and Bahasa Indonesia, switchable inside the app
• Laid out properly for tablets, not just stretched
Works without a connection
Your last rates are saved on the phone. On a plane, in a basement car park, or on hotel wifi that refuses to load, the numbers are already there the moment you open the app, with a line telling you how old they are so you always know what you are looking at.
No account, no tracking
There is nothing to sign up for. Your favourites, your base currency and your conversion history stay on your device. The history especially is never sent anywhere. A list of what someone converts is not something worth collecting.
Matawang is a reference tool. Rates are indicative and will differ from what a bank, a money changer or a card network actually gives you.
