PPID, or Information and Documentation Management Officer, is a unit or official formed to manage and provide public information in accordance with the Public Information Openness Law. PPID's main tasks include:
- Information Management: Collecting, managing and storing public information owned by institutions or agencies.
- Information Services: Providing information services to the public, including answering submitted information requests.
- Transparency: Encouraging transparency in information management and supporting public participation.
Outreach: Conduct outreach regarding the public's right to access information and information request procedures.
