About this app

Photos pile up every day, but you almost never go back and look.

Years Ago finds the photos you took on this same date and lines them up year by year. Open the app and today from last year, and from years before, appear side by side on one screen.

A trip you'd forgotten. A place you used to go all the time. Your own face, a little different back then. Once a day, a light look back.

Features

• This Date, Every Year: Compare today's photos from this year all the way back.
• Three Ways to Look: The whole week, a whole day, or the day's best shot. Swipe left and right to wander through the week.
• Wide-Open Full Screen: See photos and videos big, with pinch to zoom and a filmstrip along the bottom.
• Synced to Your Library: Favorites and deletions you make in the app apply to your phone's photo library right away.
• Optional Daily Reminder: Turn it on if you like. A quiet note when there's something from this date.
• Made Your Way: Dark mode, your language, and your week start.

Great For

• Parents who want to follow their baby's or kids' growth on the same day each year
• Anyone who misses old moments with pets and family
• Looking back on anniversaries, birthdays, and trips year after year
• A throwback photo diary and journal for your memories and old photos

Your Photos Stay on Your Device

• No sign-up, no login.
