Cloudsat collects location data to support
attendance verification and field employee
management. Here is exactly how location
is used:

🔵 Field Employees (Background Location):
- Background location is enabled ONLY for
designated field-duty employees whose roles
require site verification and work reporting.
- Location tracking runs in the background
even when the app is minimized or closed,
strictly during assigned work hours.
- A persistent notification is displayed at
ALL TIMES when background tracking is active
so the employee is always aware.
- This is done only on company-authorized
devices with full knowledge and prior
consent of the employee.

🟢 Standard / Office Employees (Foreground Only):
- Office and normal staff do NOT have
background location enabled.
- Location is only accessed during manual
attendance check-in while the app is
open and in use (foreground only).

🔒 DATA PRIVACY & SECURITY

- Location and employee data is used strictly
