The customized mobile app is available for download on iOS and Android platforms.

DEF-ISL offers the opportunity for all to learn sign language and thereby reach out to the deaf more easily.

DEF is an organization made of the deaf, for the deaf, by the deaf, focused on addressing the issues of communication for the deaf and developing methods and resources to improve their connect with the society at large. They aim to make a lasting impact on the future of thousands of deaf or hard of hearing children and adults by providing them access to early identification, hearing technology and expertise to reach their full potential.

1. It helps me communicate with hearing people... 2. It helps me communicate with doctors, I go through the app find the words related to my sickness . I can explain myself better in hospital situations. 3. My parents doesn't know any sign, they're hearing, so I use this app to teach them sign language. This is very helpful!

I am feeling better and good with this app. DEF-ISL helps with anything from english words to world related topics ,and all those meanings l don't know. I realise how better my English got after practising with def isl videos. l see and understand clear. Now I'm much better..English language doubts are clearing out. It's a Must! So important for my learning!

Lovely app , very helpful for newcomers to the language , except one function should be added . I.e the ability to play the vedios slower . It's not easy for all the catch up on the signing speed . Other than that it's one of the best apps for beginners.
