About this app

The digital India campaign has promoted extensive use of ICTs in the teaching learning process. The ePathshala, a joint initiative of Ministry of Education(MoE), Govt. of India and National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has been developed for showcasing and disseminating all educational e-resources including textbooks, audio, video, periodicals, and a variety of other digital resources. The ePathshala Mobile app is designed to achieve the SDG Goal no. 4 as well i.e. equitable, quality, inclusive education and lifelong learning for all and bridging the digital divide.

Students, Teachers, Educators and Parents can access eBooks through multiple technology platform that is mobile phones and tablets (as epub) and from the web portal through laptops and desktops (as Flipbook). ePathshala also allows users to carry as many books as their device supports. Features of these books allow users to pinch, select, zoom, bookmark, highlight, navigate, share, listen to text using text to speech (TTS) apps and make notes digitally.

Ratings and reviews

This needs to be sufficient for students and educators in terms of:- 1. user-friendly nature. 2. should have guidance or explanation for students with their local languages in simple within the chapter. 2. this should have exam preparation or solutions hints with chapters. 3.should refer to additional study sources. 4. The study material should easily open on web also. 5. should be AI interactive.

Hey NCERT devs, here's some suggestions: Download books in background, so one can download and read simultaneously. Don't download same chapters twice in case of network failures, Option to download all books of a specific subjects in one go (like hit social science and download so you don't have to choose different subjects one by one). I hope you'll try to incorporate these!

Amazing amazing amazing app. With this app there is no financial restrictions on education. Ofcourse nothing is a replacement of a good teacher but if you can't get one you have another option. I hope this app only grows to become a giant library of books and educational interactive videos and games for kids till class 12 or maybe beyond.
