Let us strive together to maintain standards.

In this app, the hotels, restaurants, bakeries, and juice stalls that have voluntarily come forward on the basis of a request from the officers of the Food Safety Department are included. These hotels, etc., undergo a self-assessment and correction, and are later subjected to a detailed inspection and evaluation by the independent FSSAI-authorized auditors. Based on the reports submitted by the auditors, these hotels, etc., are awarded hygiene certification by FSSAI. The audit questionnaire attached here will show you how stringent this process was. It is a beginning; at present, there are around 1700 hotels in this app. The number keeps increasing.

The main purpose of the Hygiene rating scheme is to:

* Allow consumers to make an informed food choice about where to eat and cultivate good eating habits

* Encourage food businesses with high hygiene standards and to continue maintaining them

* Showcase the same to their consumers

* Motivate other food businesses having lower hygiene standards to improve.

Ratings and reviews

Good initiative. But some locations given in the app are wrong. Ratings of some restaurents including those that are recognised as 'excellent' are not shown when you search. Edit: Found out that ratings of certain restaurents are outdated. It would be very helpful if you set certain standards for writing the 'about' in restaurent page. Right now, a lot of the information are ambiguous and doesn't help the customers.

Poor and pathetic app. When you tap on a restaurant name, the next screen is not popping and it keeps on spinning forever. Filters does not work. If a filter for Thiruvananthapuram is set for viewing, it keeps on displaying all the restaurants from Thiruvananthapuram to kasarkode. Poor app. We cannot expect much from a government app, this one is not an exception!

Good app. Good innovative.Great work.But the problem is now it's not working. I couldn't open it from August(2023).I don't know whether they are fixing the issue. But it would be great if they resolve the problem as it shows honest rating of restaurants that we can surely and safely reply into.
