About this app

Screen Alive Elite has features to allow your device to keep screen awake always or till a specific duration of inactivity. You can make it smart enough to keep screen on while charging or switch to a lower timeout when the device battery is low.

You can keep the notification on and use the overlay button - a new concept to enforce your device to keep screen on. Keeping the overlay button on your screen can also help you to keep screen on during calls.

A resizable widget is available as well that you can add to your home screen. Additionally, quick settings and notifications are given to keep you updated of the settings. All of this with No-Ads! This is the only working solution that I've found for keeping the screen on during calls! I was already using it for things like keeping the screen on during drive throughs and similar situations, and it worked great. However, I also needed the screen on during calls because my phone kept turning the screen off even when using the loudspeaker or with headphones. So after working a bit with it I realized you have to have the overlay on during the calls, which I hadn't been doing, and it works!!

Trying out the advanced version. What I really need is that the screen alive works when the phone is plugged in. And then when I unplug the phone the screen alive is off and then the normal screen timeout returns. The use case would be broadly popular - if one is working and wants various timeouts, the app is very helpful. But then if one is walking around it's more secure to have the phone auto lock. I think it's likely this is an easy enough feature to add. I look forward to your feedback.

It hasn't done anything to change the time my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra stays on. I realize that Samsung has a short time to keep the screen on. I tried the trouble shooting steps and nothing changed. If it can't over ride my systems set times, it's of no use to me. I have sent a message to support. If they can fix my issue, I will be Happy to come back and change my review.
