About this app

Make your own widgets. Start from a blank canvas or pick a template.
Edit widgets in a WYSIWYG (What-you-see-is-what-you-get) editor. The editor supports undo/ redo and copy/ paste letting you iterate over designs quickly.


Features
Widget objects – Date and Time elements with time zone support, text, shapes, images, weather icons etc
Layouts – organise and group objects in absolute, vertical, horizontal, flow layouts
Both color and gradients are supported on objects.

Text
Draw text in a block or on a path. Compose multiple text sources in a single text object. Transform text – uppercase, lowercase, reverse, prefix, suffix, subtext, vertical, replace etc. Support for custom fonts.

Analog clocks
Customize dial and clock hands.

Wallpaper Colors
Colors from current wallpaper can be used giving your widgets the modern look. Colors in a widget will change automatically as the wallpaper changes. Gradients from wallpaper colors can also be created.

Theme
Support for light and dark theme


Expressions
Instead of fixed values, use expressions as parameters. For e.g. make an object change its position or angle based on the time of the day.


Actions
Set actions that fire when a user clicks on the widgets. Location and dimensions of actions on widgets is fully editable.

Share fully editable widgets with the world.

Widgets by You needs to run in the background to update home screen widgets. Android Oreo and above need a persistent notification for background processing.

Ratings and reviews

Requires a bit of technical know how, but is pretty dang powerful and impressive. If you're not gonna geek out about custom formulas based on system variables though... You may not have as much fun with this as I did. Only note, though, is I can't get the media pause variable to detect Spotify playing music.

They definitely need to bring uccw back. That app was the best. Never had an issue with it and I could download so many widgets from other people in seconds. In this app I have to spend like an hour trying to create one. They need to allow us to transfer the files from uccw into this app.

It's okay, the only thing that bothers me is that the widgets would disappear if you close the app. I also wish there was a way to save the layout of the widgets, so I wouldn't have to place them one by one. Although it is difficult at first to find a way the app works it's better than the rest I tried out.
