The first thing a health inspector asks for is your temperature log.

ChillCheck keeps it on the phone that is already in the kitchen. Set the times each unit gets checked, and it asks at those times. The reminder opens straight onto a number pad — type the reading and you are done.

Built for cafés, single-location restaurants and small caterers: walk-in coolers, reach-in freezers, prep tables, hot holding.

BUILT TO BE TRUSTED
A log nobody can trust is not worth keeping. An entry made after the fact is marked as entered late, and there is no way to make it look otherwise. A mistyped value can be corrected — and the correction is shown, the way a paper log is fixed with a line and an initial rather than an eraser.

WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL
Walk-ins have terrible reception. Every screen works in airplane mode, the monthly export included. There is no account, no sign-in and no password: your records stay on your phone.

READY FOR THE NEXT PHONE
ChillCheck keeps a copy where your phone's own backup picks it up, so a new phone set up from the old one already has your log. You can also save a backup file wherever you keep files — and restoring it is free, with or without a subscription.

WHAT IT IS NOT
ChillCheck is a record-keeping tool. It does not determine whether food is safe to serve, and it does not certify compliance with any regulation. The target ranges it starts with are common defaults, not legal requirements — set the ones your health department expects. Always follow your local health department's requirements.

See what you get before you start. Settings → Load sample restaurant fills ChillCheck with a month from an example café: the calendar, the history, two out-of-range checks with their corrective actions, and the monthly PDF. One tap removes it.

Every unit now has a "Logging started" date. Days before it no longer count as checks you missed, so a month from before you added the unit exports clean instead of full of gaps. Move it back to fill in days you already have on paper.
